Can you still doubt the power of social media?
Over the last week, we have witnessed a brand who many would of called old and stale reinvent themselves via social media and connect with users in ways we have never seen done before. We have also witnessed our governement, our media and even ourselves make an assumption of what is in a women's head and heart by watching what we now know was an edited video excerpt on a right wing blog. This two minute farse cost a woman her job and reputation in a matter of hours without anyone and I mean anyone taking a second to do their due dilligence before appointing themselves judge, jury and executioner.
